- If UMRPImg_4G.zip is not on your desktop, Download the raspberry pi image
- Alternative 8G image: Download the 8G raspberry pi image
- Extract the file to the desktop
- Then, get a program ready to flash the SD card.
- If using Windows (The lab desktops)
- Download Win32DiskImager
- Extract the archive to your desktop
- Right click Win32DiskImager.exe, and click "Run as Administrator"
- Insert the SD card into your SD card reader, and plug it into the desktop
- "Browse" to select the extracted UMRPImg_4G.img file
- Select the SD card reader - Should be "E:\" or "G:\"
- If using *nix,
- Determine the /dev/ path to your SD card
- dd bs=4M if=/path/to/rpi.img of=/dev/(SD card)
